In private practice since 2012, Stéphanie Audet has also worked in the public system, primarily with youth clients, notably as part of the child psychiatry team at the Chicoutimi Hospital and at the Centre jeunesse du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.

Stéphanie Audet holds a bachelor's degree and a doctorate in psychology from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. However, she previously completed college-level studies in social work and worked in that field for nearly three years. Ms. Audet has been working with youth clients for over 10 years. She completed her doctoral thesis on the study of the relationships between coping strategies, depression, anxiety and self-esteem in an adolescent population. She holds a permit to practice psychotherapy as well as a training certificate for the assessment of neuropsychological disorders. She specializes specifically in pediatric neurocognitive assessment, which makes it possible to screen for the presence of neurodevelopmental disorders or other specific neurocognitive conditions such as intellectual disability, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), giftedness, learning disorders, language delays, etc. She is also able to perform intellectual assessments or assessments for suspected attentional disorders in adults under 50 years of age. Ms. Audet also has some experience in parental guidance, which consists of helping parents better understand their child's functioning and better adapt their parenting interventions with the aim of improving parent–child communication and family harmony. In a therapeutic context, she primarily uses cognitive-behavioral and systemic approaches.
