PhD candidate in clinical psychology under the supervision of Ms. Sophie Bousquet, Erica recently completed her internship in mental health 1firston the frontline at the GFM-U in Chicoutimi, with an adult clientele. She was thus able to enrich her training by assessing and conducting follow-ups with a diverse clientele based on specific and varied needs, including relational and adjustment difficulties as well as traumas and bereavements of all kinds. At the same time, she works in oncology — palliative and end-of-life care — at the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean. Drawing on a background that includes humanistic, psychodynamic, systemic, and behavioral approaches, she addresses the various issues encountered in an integrative manner. Authentic and attentive to her clients' needs, she uses the therapeutic relationship as a driving force for change within therapy.
