Jessica Lapointe

Jessica Lapointe works with the cognitive-behavioral approach and the systemic approach. For her, the synergistic work between the client and the various practitioners is essential for change. She does this work because she believes in the potential of every human being, even if they have difficulties or deficits.

She holds a Doctorate in Psychology (neuropsychology profile) from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. During her doctoral studies, she received significant scholarships of excellence for her research project on assistive technologies for people with Alzheimer’s disease. She worked in neuropsychology at the CIUSSS du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean with adult (18–64 years) and geriatric (65 years and over) clients. She also worked for several years as a psychologist in the school setting with children.
