Sophie Bousquet

Psychologist for nearly 20 years, Sophie Bousquet favors cognitive behavioral therapy and the systemic approach. Her career has led her to develop expertise with young people and their families. Versatile, she works with clients of varying ages presenting diverse difficulties such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and relational difficulties.

Building on her clinical experience within a youth mental health team and in an organization providing therapeutic services to young victims of sexual violence and to those exhibiting problematic sexual behaviors, Ms. Bousquet has collaborated with academia by supervising several psychology interns and working alongside a research chair. She has also given presentations on sexual victimization and problematic sexual behaviors in children at scientific conferences, both here and abroad. In addition, over the past few years she has provided training on these topics to professionals from various sectors, including health and social services.
