Intern in couple and family therapy

Sarah Comte supports couples and families who wish to improve their communication, break cycles of conflict, strengthen their emotional bond, explore co-parenting, or adapt to significant transitions in their family and/or couple life. Her approach is systemic, humanistic, inclusive and trauma-informed, with particular attention to the emotions, needs and interactions that shape couple and family relationships. She also provides space for the realities of people from cultural diversity and LGBTQIA+ communities as well as for diverse relationship configurations.

Sarah Comte has more than six years of experience working with individuals, couples and families facing various issues such as mood disorders, sleep disorders, eating disorders (ED), addiction issues, personality disorders, bereavement, questioning around gender identity or sexual orientation, and school or work difficulties.

Holding a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in psychology from Université Laval, she is currently pursuing a master’s in couple and family therapy at McGill University. In parallel, she has taken part in research projects on cultural diversity and gambling addiction.

Guided by values of respect, authenticity, kindness and collaboration, Sarah is committed to offering a safe and inclusive therapeutic space where each person, couple or family can explore their challenges with sensitivity and openness.
