Roxanne is currently completing a doctorate in psychology, scientific-professional profile, at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She works with children dealing with various psychological issues such as anxiety, depressive symptoms, emotion management and oppositional and aggressive symptoms. She also provides parents with tools and advice to help them better manage their child's behaviors and peculiarities on a daily basis. Roxanne also assists adolescents and adults with challenges such as stress and anxiety, depressive symptoms, life events, bereavement, relationship difficulties and low self-esteem. Roxanne also has a strong scientific background in the healthy and problematic use of technological tools such as video games and social media. She is particularly interested in understanding the motivations and functions of these technologies for each individual, and in identifying tools and strategies to promote healthy and harmonious use.
