Dr. Nathalie Desormeaux works with adolescents and adults. She specializes in ADHD and learning disorders. She has extensive experience in the assessment of giftedness and twice-exceptionality.
Dr. Desormeaux completed a doctorate in neuropsychology at the Université du Québec à Montréal. She has worked in various settings and with different client groups throughout her career. She worked in trauma at the Montreal General Hospital with patients who had suffered traumatic brain injuries. Subsequently, she spent 16 years at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute in Montreal in the psychotic disorders program. She also served as supervisor and clinical coordinator for the neuropsychology program at the Douglas Institute. She has also had the opportunity to work on numerous mental health projects throughout her career in the health network.
Currently, she devotes herself to her private practice and has developed expertise in the assessment of giftedness and twice-exceptionality in adolescents and adults. She continues to supervise students and doctoral candidates in neuropsychology.
