Martine Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in social work and a specialized graduate diploma in intervention in visual impairment. She has been working in her profession for more than 24 years. The settings where she acquired extensive experience are varied: hospitals (CHU Saint-Justine and Douglas Mental Health University Institute), rehabilitation settings, CLSC, DPJ, community organizations and an international non-governmental organization (Médecin du Monde Canada).

The clientele she has encountered is also very diverse.
