Marie-Josée Courval supports individuals, couples and families experiencing various life issues, such as adapting to illness or loss of autonomy, bereavement, or any marital and family difficulties.

Marie-Josée Courval holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in social work from the Université de Montréal. Over the past 17 years, she has worked with an adult hospitalized clientele for physical health problems, particularly in oncology and palliative care. She has also worked with children and adolescents hospitalized in child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as their families. Specializing in the systemic approach, Marie-Josée helps individuals, couples and families regain a form of balance, allowing them to live together in a more harmonious and satisfying way.

Marie-Josée is also a trainer, consultant and clinical supervisor for social workers and interdisciplinary teams. Her work focuses mainly on the systemic approach, bereavement, couples and family, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
