Lysandre Ouimet Lauzon

Lysandre worked in the community sector during his studies and has now been working in the health and social services network within the DI-TSA program for more than 4 years.

Having developed an increased interest in the helping relationship, Lysandre Ouimet Lauzon wanted to deepen her knowledge in this field, which led her to pursue a bachelor's degree in social work at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. This training allowed her to thoroughly develop various techniques and approaches, such as the systemic approach and the solution-focused approach. Her knowledge has enabled her to work with a diverse clientele during several professional experiences.

Since graduating, Lysandre has been working within a multidisciplinary team that supports people who have been diagnosed with intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder as well as their families. Her work regularly leads her to work with adult clients, with or without particular needs, who are experiencing psychosocial issues (transition, relationship difficulty, employment difficulty, self-esteem and assertiveness, stress, anxiety).

Lysandre places the client's strengths at the heart of her interventions, taking care to help them regain control of their life. With her listening skills, professionalism and analytical ability, she will support you through a process of change.
