Dominique Roy worked in the school system for over 20 years with various populations, first as a substitute, then as a special education classroom teacher and orthopedagogue, with the last year in a bilingual environment. She practiced privately during the summers for the past 7 years and is now full-time since the start of the 2024–2025 school year.

Dominique completed a bachelor's degree in teaching for special and social adaptation and a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in behavioral intervention for people with ASD at theUniversity of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM)(2004 and 2008). Today, she provides her services at Clinique Familio as an orthopedagogue and also offers support in implementing educational strategies for families with an autistic child. Her individualized approach is warm and empathetic to meet each person's needs. Her priority is to establish a relationship of trust with children and their parents in order to create an environment conducive to learning.
