Ms. Catherine Roussel-Leconte has worked in child and adolescent psychiatry in the public sector, as well as with couples, families, and individuals in the private sector.

She is currently a social worker and a psychotherapy intern. She studied at UQTR in the short-term postgraduate program in psychotherapy and holds a master’s degree in social work from UQAM (2018). She works with both youth and adult clients. She offers individual, couples, and family therapy. Ms. Roussel-Leconte has over 10 years of experience in counseling, including 6½ years as a social worker. She primarily uses a systemic or humanistic approach. For couples, she draws on emotion-focused therapy as well as the Gottman Method. She has worked in child and adolescent psychiatry as well as in private practice. She strives to support her clients with kindness and empathy, seeking to understand them in order to support them during both difficult times and moments that are meaningful to them.
