Annie Clermont

Annie Clermont has been working with children and their families for nearly fifteen years. She has developed her expertise in the field of neuropsychology over those years.

Ms. Clermont holds the certificate issued by the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ) authorizing the assessment of neuropsychological disorders. Her assessments make it possible to determine the nature and presence of a neuropsychological disorder or diagnosis. She obtained her master's degree in school psychology from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and has been a member of the OPQ since 2007.

Annie Clermont works with preschool- and school-aged children as well as with their support network. She collaborates with parents, caregivers, teachers and other specialists (speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, psychoeducator, school psychologist, social worker, etc.) who are involved in the children’s lives. For her, they are an important source of information about daily functioning, which helps her better understand the difficulties that both the youngest and the older children may encounter.

She conducts neuropsychological assessments and diagnoses for children with various cognitive problems such as intellectual disability, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, learning disorders, etc. In addition, she has developed significant expertise in school admission exemptions for kindergarten and Grade 1. She is also interested in children with high intellectual potential and giftedness. She also works with children with various issues such as adjustment difficulties, behavioral disorders, anxiety, attentional and organizational difficulties, etc.
