Marie-Hélène Scalzulli

Marie-Hélène Scalzulli has worked with adults, parents, children and adolescents for over 20 years. She has worked in school settings, both elementary and secondary, and in the health sector, at the CIUSSS in the Young Person in Difficulty program as well as in cases of neglect. She also works with the SAAQ to provide services to accident victims.

A registered member of the Professional Order of Psychoeducators of Quebec since 2004, Marie-Hélène Scalzulli holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychoeducation from the Université de Montréal and offers psychoeducational follow-up services to young people and their families.

While providing a warm therapeutic environment centered on her clients' needs, her intervention framework is inspired by the principles of ecosystemic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, brief solution-focused therapy, as well as positive parenting practices.

Marie-Hélène performs her duties primarily in the health sector (CIUSSS), coordinating a program on positive parenting practices and neglect, and working with young people aged 2 to 18 and their parents. She also works in private practice and provides home services.

A mother of three, she enjoys working with parents as couples to help with parent–child relationships. Her interest in health and the importance of the parents' role in relation to children's well‑being have motivated her to always work alongside the school and health sectors.

She is motivating, empathetic and dynamic. Her approach is based on respect, listening and support in order to meet your needs. As a good communicator and aware of the challenges that change represents, Ms. Scalzulli will be able to support you in your process to achieve your goals.
