Marc Pelletier has over 30 years of experience in psychosocial intervention, with a rich and diverse career as a social worker, clinical supervisor, trainer and specialized practitioner. Holder of a Bachelor of Social Work from McGill University since 1997 and a member in good standing of the Order of Social Workers of Quebec, Marc has devoted his career to supporting vulnerable populations and supervising practitioners.

At the start of his career, Marc worked within the Children's Aid Society (DPJ) in Plantagenet, Ontario, where he supported children who were victims of abuse and their families. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2003, he worked in Switzerland at Fondation Trajets, supporting clients with psychiatric conditions in their social and professional integration.

Back in Quebec, Marc spent more than a decade at the Le Transit Crisis Centre, where he developed extensive expertise in suicide prevention, substance use and mental health. These skills led him to join Charles-Le Moyne Hospital in Longueuil, where he worked from 2015 to 2021 on the SIM team (Intensive Mental Health) to support people in psychiatric crisis.

From 2021 to 2025, Marc held the position of program coordinator Cabestan at ÉcoMaris, an innovative project offering psychosocial support in a nautical environment to young people in difficulty, allowing them to develop resilience and discover new professional perspectives.

Since 2025, he has been working at PRISM du CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, a specialized program for people living with severe mental disorders and experiencing homelessness. There he continues his commitment to marginalized populations, combining clinical intervention, interdisciplinary work and a humanistic approach.

At the same time, Marc offers clinical supervision as well as individual and team support for professionals working in mental health. He also leads training sessions focused on team building, communication and conflict resolution.

Versatile, empathetic and endowed with a strong sense of teamwork, Marc is recognized for his commitment to the well‑being of his clients and for his ability to inspire and train the next generation of social workers.
