With nearly 10 years of experience in psychoeducation, Cindy offers bilingual services—in French and English—to children, adolescents, adults, and families who are facing challenges that affect their well-being and daily lives.
In her view, every person has their own story, strengths, and reality. Her role is to help them better understand what they are going through, recognize their resources, and develop concrete strategies to overcome the challenges they face.
Warm, genuine, and collaborative, Cindy prioritizes building a relationship based on trust and listening without judgment. She tailors her approach to each person’s needs and pace, drawing on a variety of methods to provide personalized support that respects each individual’s unique circumstances.
She works with adolescents and adults, focusing in particular on issues related to mental health, anxiety, stress, emotion regulation, self-esteem, and relationship or adjustment difficulties. She also supports individuals facing challenges related to neurodivergence (ASD, ADHD), as well as those experiencing grief, a separation, a crisis, a major life transition, or the aftermath of difficult or traumatic experiences.
Cindy works with children and families facing emotional, behavioral, developmental, or adjustment difficulties. She also supports parents who want to better understand their child and develop appropriate strategies for guidance, discipline, communication, and family relationships. She also offers developmental screening services when concerns arise.
Her professional career has led her to work for several years with children and families in a First Nations community, as well as to serve in clinical supervisory roles. These experiences have reinforced her belief that effective intervention must take into account each person’s values, culture, and life context.
In addition to her clinical practice, Cindy teaches psychoeducation at the university, particularly in the area of crisis intervention.
She offers individual sessions as well as parenting support via teleconsultation throughout Quebec, in both French and English.
Because you don't always have to change everything to start feeling better. Sometimes, just a few small steps can make a big difference.
