Camilo Real holds a Bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Quebec in Outaouais and has been a member of OTSTCFQ since 2008. He also completed a minor in criminology and in arts and sciences at the Université de Montréal.
He has worked in a health and social services center with a family clientele for 15 years because he believes in the power of change in young people and the parents who support them. For the past 7 years, he has focused part of his practice on an adult clientele, addressing couple follow-up and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, and adjustment.
Aware of the importance personal growth takes in a desired change process, his multiple approaches (ecosystemic, cognitive-behavioral, brief solution-focused therapy, etc.) are infused with a holistic current too often forgotten in modern practice. For 15 years he has helped his clients reach their goals by restoring a desired and comfortable way of functioning within a warm, supportive context. He is centered, honest, and dynamic in his stance, based on the importance of respect because he understands the challenge represented by the process you are undertaking.
