Dr. Anne Julien obtained her doctorate in clinical research psychology at Concordia University. Since 2014, she has trained in both academic and hospital settings, working individually and in groups with adults suffering from mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Anne is registered with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She has worked at Wood Psychology since 2021 and at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) since 2022, within the Neuropsychology Service and the Crisis Service (Crisis Program).
Dr. Julien received extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy specialized for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and has worked with patients facing various obsessions and rituals, such as those related to contamination, harm, and sexuality. She has also worked with patients with serious medical conditions (cardiac, heart transplantation, cystic fibrosis) and in obstetrics (postpartum depression and infertility). In addition, Dr. Julien is trained in ADHD assessment in adults and in neuropsychological evaluations in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Dr. Julien's therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing her interventions from evidence-based treatment protocols and adapting them to her clients' needs. Above all, she believes in a warm, open environment in which collaborative work will lead the client toward their goals.
Dr. Anne Julien is currently a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (license no. 14976-23).
